He used signatures of Nagamitsu, Ichiryushi Nagamitsu, and Ichihara Nagamitsu.<br \/>\nHe is said to have made swords with prisnoers in prison. Emura Shigetaro, the warden of Okayama prison, inveted him and had him instruct the prisoners\u3000for the rehabilitation of prisoners. He used signature of Emura for the swords made in the prison, but the style of Emura and Nagamitsu are different.
