\nHamon:A gunome-midare with fine ko-gunome,
\nshowcasing vivid sunagashi and kinsuji activity within the blade.
\nThe boshi undulates and ends in a sharp return.<\/p>\n

Features:Kanbayashi Tsunehira (b. 1949, Yamagata Prefecture) apprenticed under Miyairi Yukihira, a Living National Treasure, in 1967.
\nThrough dedicated study, he won numerous awards, including the Bunka-ch\u014d Award, Takamatsunomiya Award, and Kunzan Award.
\nBy 1985, at just 36 years old, he became a Mukansa (exempt from appraisal) smith.<\/p>\n

His specialty is the S\u014dsh\u016b tradition, particularly blade carvings, which reflect the influence of his master Yukihira.
\nHis works are signed with Hasedo on the nakago, as he established his forge in Hasedo, Yamagata, in 1986.
\nIn 2008, he was designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Yamagata Prefecture.<\/p>\n

The phrase \u201cRikikou Ware wo Azamukazu\u201d means \u201cEffort never deceives me\u201d, emphasizing the importance of dedication and hard work.<\/p>\n
