\nShape:A well-proportioned blade with a wide mihaba, slightly thick kasane, and deep curvature.
\nThe kissaki is slightly short.
\nBo-hi (grooves) are carved on both sides, and there is remaining ubu-ha.
\nA well-preserved and healthy piece.
\nJigane:Finely forged ko-itame hada with excellent refinement.
\nUpon closer examination, the tightly forged ko-itame hada enhances the beauty of the hamon.
\nHamon:A well-executed suguha with actively working ashi.
\nSoft and gentle ashi enter beautifully, giving the blade an elegant and dignified appearance.
\nAdditionally, a faint utsuri appears.
\nAchieving mukansa status with a suguha hamon is extremely difficult.<\/p>\n

Features:Hiroki Hirokuni, a renowned modern master swordsmith from Kanagawa Prefecture, was born in Fukuoka and trained under Sumitani Masamine.
\nIn Heisei 8 (1996), he achieved the prestigious Mukansa status.
\nHe passed away in May 2013 at the age of 65.
\nHirokuni’s craftsmanship was built on a strong foundation, excelling in the Bizen, Yamato, Yamashiro, and Soshu traditions.
\nHe was a great loss as a Mukansa swordsmith, but his work showcases outstanding hamon.
\nWe are pleased to introduce this remarkable masterpiece, a work of refined elegance and dignity.<\/p>\n
