We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo Saku, Jyojyo Saku, Jyo Saku, and Regular Saku.
\nThis piece is ranked as Jyo Saku.

\nShape: A wide blade with a thick kasane, featuring a bo-hi (groove) extending to the so-mune (spine).
\nIt has a deep curvature and a standard-sized kissaki (tip).
\nJigane:A well-forged ko-itame-hada, resulting in a refined and high-quality steel texture.
\nHamon:Nie-deki choji-midare, with an active boshi that turns back in a small rounded manner.<\/p>\n

Features: Horii Nobuhide, born as Masamitsu in Taisho 9 (1920) in Muroran, Hokkaido, was the eldest son of Horii Toshihide (a member of Hideaki Dojin).<\/p>\n

Aoi Art\u2019s Comment:This sword closely resembles the works of Horii Toshihide and is exceptionally well-crafted.
\nIt is a powerful and impressive piece, featuring a choji-midare mixed with gunome-midare.
\nHorii Nobuhide learned sword-making from his father and created works of a similar style.
\nHe was a councilor of the Japan Art Preservation Society and a disciple of Miyairi Kohei.
\nThroughout his career, he won numerous prestigious awards, Gold Cup Special Selection Prize Army Minister’s Prize, Chairman of the Japanese Sword Introduction Committee, Five Outstanding Performance Awards, Nine Encouragement Awards, Five Effort Awards, Minister of Education Prize.
\nBorn on March 22, 1920, Horii Nobuhide is a swordsmith whose work is expected to gain further recognition in the future.
