This sword belongs to the Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length:25.2 cm or 9.92 inches.
Sori :0.0cm or 0.0 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 1.82cm or 0.71 inches.
Kasane :0.49 cm or 0.19 inches.
The weight of the sword:115 grams.
Era : Late Kamakura period. Karyaku
Shape: Thin blade with long Nakago.
There is a little Machi-Okuri and Suriage but the
Mei and Yasurime is left perfectly,
Jigane: Itame-Hada and Mokume Hada mixed. Utsuri is visible.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha but deep Nioikuchi worked from Monouchi. Boshi is round in shape.

Special feature: Bizen Koku Ju Chikayori was a sword smith worked at
south side of Okayama prefecture Waki province Waki town.
Chikatsugu, Noritsugu also worked in this area.
From Aoi Art: This is thin sword which was made by Bizen Koku Ju Chikayori. Jigane is
tight and Muji style, Pale Utsuri is visible and Hamon is Suguha with deep Nioikuchi from
Monouchi area. The sword has attractions of Koto. We recommend you this sword.
The signature on the NBTHK Hozon paper said that it was a Saiha(re-temper), but there are traces of it being erased.

Koshirae : Aikuchi Koshirae.
Fuchikashira: made of buffalo horn.
Saya: Black Saya, Hell scene is engraved with gold color.
