Blade length: 54.8 cm or 21.5 inches.
Sori :1.2cm or 0.47 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.96 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.99 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.59 cm or 0.23 inches.
The weight of the sword 535 grams.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape: wide and thick sword with regular Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained Jinie attached Kitaguni style blackish Jigane.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha with Notare. Ko-Ashi worked.

Special feature: Oumi Kami Fujiwara Tsuguhiro is Echizen’s sword smith and he made swords with Echizen Yasutsugu. He usually engrave Echizen Ju on backside, but this sword also engraved Shimosaka.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Ellipse style iron Tsuba with thin Tachiage Mimi. Flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira; Koziri: Iron plate. Some pattern is engraved with Nunome inlay.
Saya: Deep brown Saya, thin pattern and family crest are engraved.
