The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver double Habaki.
Blade length : 43.6 cm or 17.1inches.
Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.16 cm or 12.4 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.57cm or 1.01 inches.
Kasane : 0.55cm or 0.21 inches.
The weight of the sword 450 grams.
Era : Edo period Genna era 1615
Shape : Wide and thick sword with regular Sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane : Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached and Chikei worked.
Hamon : Niedeki, deep Nioi kuchi Gunome-Midare. Soft Ashi, Sunagashi and think Kinsuji worked.
Boshi: Hakikake style round shape Boshi with deep Nie and Kinsuji.

Special feature: Kunimasa is student of Horikawa Kunihiro. He made many
masterpieces and also helped his master to made swords.
His works are very similar to his master’s works, deep
Nioikuchi Gunome-Midare with Sunagashi and Kinsuji.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Kawari style iron Tsuba, gooses (Karigane pattern) are engraved with openwork.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate. Flying bats are engraved with gold color.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. 3 Kiri-mon(Family crest) are engraved with gold color.
From Aoi Bijyutsu: JIgane is haramachi jigane and hamon is typical Kunihiro style gnome
with deep nioikuchi and worked sunagashi, kinsuji in Hamon.
