Era : The late Edo period
Shape : The body has deep Sori of 3.75cm, to be O-Kissaki, the shape is dynamic.
The front side has an engraving of “Hachiman Dai Bosatsu”.
The back side has elaborate Kenmaki-Ryu and Dokko. Engraved by Yoshitane.
Jigane :Koitame-hada well grained, Jinie attached to be a beautiful Jigane. Swirling Chikei comes in.
Hamon :Niedeki Gunome-Midare, Ashi comes in, Sunagashi and Kimsuji work in Hachu.

Special Feature: Suishinshi Masatsugu is a sword smith from Naotane
school and succeeded to Kawabe family and passed away in
November, 1860. The style resembles Naotane, very good at Soshu-
den and Bizen-den.
