This blade belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
Habaki: Copper single Habaki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 44.6 cm or 0.39 inches.
Sori : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.10　cm or 1.22 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era: Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape: Wide and thick, nice shape Naginata.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with Ashi. Some part has double Hamon.
Boshi is pointed shape and turns back.

Special feature: The signature is Teruhiro. It seems to be Bushi Ju Teruhiro. The Bushu Shitahara school, it is of uncertain origin but the workmanship was influenced by Soshu School. The clan prospered present Hachioji city in Tokyo.
The Shitahara school is the only swordsmith group in the Musashi provoince.
Generally, it was called as Bushu Shitahara. They made nice quality blades. The Naginata got Nyusen prize in the polishing contest of the NBTHK, and is well polished.

Koshirae :
Tsuka: whole length is about 200cm.
There are fittings and Raden work.
Saya: the whole length is about 25cm.
Black color Saya with Mitsudomoe family crest.
Tsuba: Iron, Kirimon with cloth inlay.
