From Aoi Art: Isshinsai Munehira was a swordsmith from Ise province. And he moved to Edo later. This is probably because when Koyama Munetsugu and his brother Koyama Munehira were living in Kuwana
It is thought that he was advised to go to Edo by Munehira, who was his master at the time, and moved there.
He was given the same name by his master and called himself Isshinsai Munehira. The style is similar to that of Koyama Munetsugu and Munehira, especially in the Yasurime of Nakago and Nakago shape.
Koyama Munetsugu stopped using Kesho Yasuri from the New Year of the second year of the Manei. Since then he used Yoko Ichionji style.
Isshinsai Mumehira and Munehira also used the same kind of Yasurime.
He must have been a very skilled wordsmith.
It is thought that he dedicated his sword-making to Munetsugu and Munehira. This is why there are so few of his produce.
The blade is very healthy. We recommend this sword for you.
