Special feature: We have judged that this is Fujiwara Takada. Fujiwara
Takada is a swordsmith group that made great swords in around the
mid Muromachi period and there were famous smiths like

Tokiyuki, Sadayuki and Sanemori. Their works are called as Ko-
Takada-mono and they sometimes made Hitatsura.

From Aoi Art:The Hitatsura Hamon of this work reminds us of Soshu
Tsunahiro or Shimada school, but the times goes back a little and it is supposed
to be Fujiwara Takada. Indeed, we rarely have Hitatsura of Fujiwara Takada,
but we have seen some of them. Hamon is very harsh and works also
in Shinogiji: well-made. Koshirae is also nice and we truly recommend this work
for you.
Background: In the period under the control of Yoshimitsu, it became somehow
stable but after Onin War(1467-1477) or Meio Coup(1493) they
plunged into the Wars (Sengoku Period), the systems of Bakufu,

Shugotaisei and Shoen-Kouryousei were destroyed and the Sengoku-
Daimyo gain power at their territory as independent clans.
