Special feature: Emura, the director of Okayama Prison, gave the role of making a
Japanese sword to a person who is seriously working among prisoners and who can be
expected to be rehabilitated, especially among the thugs. At that time, he invited
Nagamitsu, who had been selected for the Army Guntō Encouragement Association in
Okayama Prefecture, to educate prisoners about how to make Guntō, and produced a
large number of swords with Nagamitsu. The difference from Nagamitsu is that Emura
was polished in the prison, so many Emura are polished quite well. On the other hand, if
you look closely at Nagamitsu, the polishing is not done properly. This is my idea and
may be different
It is also a feature that there are many serious works with no variation in the overall
work.
In the Showa era, there are works made near Yasukuni Sword and Minatogawa Shrine,
but the works made in this Okayama Prison are nothing compared to those swords.

From Aoi Art:In my opinion, I have dealt with Nagamitsu and Emura a lot, but
overall I think that Emura’s work is superior to Nagamitsu. It is believed that Emura was
the director of Okayama Prison and that he was polishing those works in the prison.
