Shape : The blade is broad and thick with deep Sori, Bo-hi are engraved on the both
sides, Kissaki is big.
Jigane :Koitame-hada well grained to be great Jigane, Jinie attached, Chikei works.
Hamon :Suguha with deep Nioikuchi from Hamachi, and comes Gunome-midare with
good work of Ashi, Sunagashi and small Kinsuji work in Hachu. Boshi turns back largely.

Special feature:Ise Daijo Tsunahiro was a sword maker group originated
from Muromachi period to the late Edo period Keio era(14th
generation), and preserved the tradition of Soshuden. This Ise
Daijo Tsunahiro was a son of Kanuemon and his Homyo was
Joryoku, passed away in Genroku 13. Probably Kagotani
Takateru ordered this sword to Ise Daijo Tsunahiro and Ise
Daijo Tsunayuki.

From Aoi Art: Daijo Tsunahiro was a sword maker group originated
from Muromachi period to the late Edo period Keio era(14th
generation), and they were very popular at that time. Tsunayuki is
thought to be a pupil of Ise Daijo Tsunahiro and to studied sword
making while helping his master. The person who has ordered this
sword is supposed to be very famous, we could find the description
of him on the book “Shin Bushu Kin Seki Mei Rui”. About the detail,
we have to wait for the further investigation. The date of production is
engraved(Empo 7 Tsuchimoto Hitsuji 2 Gatsu Kichijitsu: meaning
February in 1680), Mei is collaborated signature, and there is also a
name of the client, which is extraordinarily rare. Besides it was
polished by a great experienced polisher, and his polish enhances the Jigane
and Hamon. It is a masterpiece without any flaws or defects, which we definitely recommend for you.
