The blade was polished.
Habaki : silver single habaki with engraving a family crest.
Blade length : 60.0 cm or 23.6 inches.
Sori :1.7 cm or 0.67 inches.

Width at the Kissaki : 1.98 cm or 0.78 inches.

Era : Muromachi period Meio 5 Nen (1492)
Shape : Mihama, Kawane both regular size
with deep sori and rather longer kissaki beautiful shape.
Jigane :Koitame hada and komokume hada mixed with jinie attach and midare utsuri appear beautiful fine texture.
Hamon :Konie deki chojni midare and gnome midare mixed with Hoashi deep nioikuchi softly and sunagawa, kinsuji work.

Special feature: Bishu osafune Tadamitsu was working from Nanbokucho
period to late Muromachi period.
This sword looks Hikobei Tadamitsu because the marvelous Jigane.
T he sword is called Katateuchi which was used as ground battle not horse riding
battle.
From early Muromachi period, the battle method was changed from horse riding
to
ground battle.
This sword is fantastic Jigane with Chikei and Utsuri make you satisfied.

The blade is very good condition without Kizu and flow.

Tsuba: On the brass plate, flowers and family crests are engraved which
looks like mass productive Ichiyo tsuba.
Menuki: some design is engraved by Shakudo plate, with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On the iron plate, the ocean design is engraved with gold color.

work and Boshi is midarekomi style,
