This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher(Mukansa)
Blade length : 69.3 cm or 27.28 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.89 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape: The blade is Osuriage mumei(cut shortened) with deep sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu: itame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha, doublehamon and also oogunome midare from Monouchi area. In Ha, there are many ashi, Sunagashi and also Kinsuji scatter. From Monnouchi area, thick and deep nioikuchi and boshi looks 1 mai.

Special feature: At Kamakura period, Taima school sword makers were making sword at Nara prefecture
Taima city near Taima temple.
Yamato school unite Senjyuin, Tegai, Sikkake,Hosyo and Taima.
Each school belonged to some temple and made swords.
Taima school looks very similar with Sosyu Yukimitsu.
From that period, Taima had good reputation.
This blade is very active and from Monouchi area, the thick nioikuchi and also deep hamon.
Boshi is Ichimai temper line. This work was displayed at a presentation of sword polishing techniques.

Tsuba : Iron Tsuba, Inome design is engraved.
Fuchikashira : Iron plate.
Saya : Black color kawarinuri Saya.
Menuki : a flower is engraved on the shakudo plate.
