This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
shinto: Saiyo saku:Saijyo Oo wazamono ranking:Hizen.
Habaki : Gold foild double habaki.
Blade length : 38.8cm or 15.27 inches.
Sori :0.8cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2,83cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.69 cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0.8cm or 0.31 inches.
The weight of the sword 370 grams.
Era : Edo period Keicho era.
Shape : Regular width, thickness and Sori. O-Kissaki sword
Jigane : Itame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached beautiful Jihada.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha, Hamachi is soft and Ko-Ashi work.
Special feature: Tadayoshi 1st is name Hashimoto Shin Zaemon, worked for
Nabeshima family from 1596 with his relative, Munenaga.
After that, they moved to Kyoto, Tadayoshi learn making
sword and Munenanga learn carving for 3 years. Then he
turn back to Hizen and worked at Saga castle.
He received the Mei Musashi Daijo in 1624 and passed
away in 1633.

From Aoi Art: This Tadayoshi is Hi/zen/Koku/Tada/yoshi, which call Goji
Tada(5 letters Tadayoshi). This is most famous and popular
Tadayoshi’s Mei, The Mei was used only in 1603 and 1604.
Kissaki is O-Kissaki and shape is also good. Jigane is high
quality and Hamon is Suguha.
Tadayoshi is highest ranking Shinto sword smith and judged
as Saijo-Owazamono. We strongly recommend this sword,
which was made by top Shinto swordsmith.
