This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki:　Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length:　16.4cm or 6.45inches.
Sori :0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 　1
Width at the hamachi: 1.94cm or 0.76inches.
Kasane : 0.47cm or 0.18 inches.
The weight of the sword 70 grams.
Era: Early of Showa
Shape : Small Mitsumune Tanto, there is Ubuha.
Brahmic script and lotus stand are engraved on Frontside,
nail and sword is engraved on backside.
Jigane: Ko-Itame-Hada well grained,
Jinie attached beautiful Jihada.
Hamon : From Hamachi, Suguha then Deep Nioikuchi,
Boshi turn back deep and sharply.

Special feature: This Gassan is peace of Gassan Sadakatsu.
There is Ubuha and the sword was never polished after it was made but this sword is still in very good condition.
We think it engraved that Motte Masamune Den
because the sword was tried to made as Masamune.

Koshirae :
Saya: Red Urushi is painted on black Urushi
and polished to show the black color. This called Negoro style.
Tsuba: Copperplate
Menuki: On copper plate, bird (Chidori) is engraved.
Fuchikashira: Copperplate.
Kojiri; Copperplate.
Wari Kogai: Copperplate.
Kozuka: On a silver plate, the Family crest is engraved.

From Aoi Art: The Tanto of Gassan Sadakatsu made as Masamune Den,
this is very rare. Mitsumune style and there are Ubuha. Brahmic script and lotus stand are engraved on the front side, nail and sword is engraved on the backside. Koshirae is made by copper and it is elegant.
We recommend this sword as Yomeiri Tanto and amulet.
