This sword belongs to Joy Joy Saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki :　Gold failed double Habaki
Blade length : 71.6 cm or 28.1 inches.
Sori : 23cm or 9.05 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.95cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1、89 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 685 grams.
Era : End of Muromachi period, Tenbun era
Shape : Regular width and thickness sword with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Bo-hi and Soe-Hi are engraved on both side.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached beautiful Jigane and Shirake-Utsuri is visible.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha. Ko-Ashi and Yo worked. Boshi is round shape Hakikake style.

Special feature: Sasshu Ju Sadakiyo is Satsuma sword smith who rarely worked around end of Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Round Tsuba with openwork.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate, cloud and lightning are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Azuki color Ishime plate.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. Leaves are engraved with gold color.
Koikuchi: Was cover with silver. We think the sword was use for Iai so it was cover to do not be broken.

From Aoi Art: Sadakiyo is very rare and this is the first time we have and
see his sword directly. His signature was written with an interesting method and the shape, Hamon, Jigane also good. End of the Muromachi period was wartime so most of swords are mass production but this sword was made very carefully. The sword has high-quality Jigane and also was polished by high ranking polisher. Koshirae’s Tsukamaki is rather. We strongly recommend this sword as Iai sword.
