Explanation: This sword is Kiyomaro Utsushi(copy) made by iron sand of Sendai river on a lucky day, February 2003.

This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 24.8 cm or 9.76 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.7cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane :0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 205 grams.
Era : Modern
Shape : Wide and thick Tanto.
Jigane : Masame-hada, Jinie attached, thin Chikei is visible.
Hamon: Ko-nideki Choji-Midare and Gunome-Midare mixed. Long Kinsuji worked.

Special feature: Akamatsu Taro usually use his original iron so his swords is
different from other swordsmith’s swords. Akamatsu
family usually make big swords so Tanto is very rare and
this is the first one we have seen. It was copied
Kiyomaro’s initial works, Choji-midare with long Kinsuji.
