This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
Shinto: Chujyo saku: Yamashiro.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length: 75.7 cm or 29.80 inches.
Sori : 1.1cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Sakihaba: 2.02 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.

Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape: Slightly wide and thick Katana with longer Kissaki.
Sori is slightly shallow.
The blade is Kanbun Shinto style.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.

Hamon : Nie Deki, from Hamachi is Suguha Hamon and then Sudare-Ba.
Boshi is Notare and small round shape. It called Sanpin Boshi.

Special feature: Tanba Kami Yoshimichi was called Mishina Tokuzaemon.
He received the Tanba Kami in the second year of Kanbun(1662).
It is said that he inherited the style of the 2nd generation, but he have been short-lived.
Kyo Tanba Kami Yoshimichi allowed cutting a Kiku Mon(chrysanthemum crest) on the
Nakago, since then, he have followed it until the end of the Edo period. However, Osaka
Tanba was not allowed it.

Fushimi Tanba Kami, Osaka Tanaba Kami, and Yamato Kami.
It is said that the 1st generation Tanba Yoshimichi devised a unique and gorgeous
Hamon called a Sudare-Ba.
Osaka Tanba Kami Yoshimichi is said to be the second son of the 1st Kyo Tanba.
It is said that it is difficult to male a Sudare-Ba and the method of making it was a secret
of that school. No only is the number of blades small, but it is also exported overseas, making it a Hamon is loved by people all over the world.
The blade is long length with bright Hamon and beautiful Yamashiro Jigane.
