This sword belongs to ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Ganseki Habaki.
Blade length :　66.8　cm or 26.29 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 　1
Width at the hamachi : 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.57 cm or 0.61 inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : Regular width and thickness O-Suriage Mumei Katana with deep Sori. Kissaki is pointed and rounded shape.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada and Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie attach. The Jigane is soft and visible to see the texture.
There are Utsuri appear. There are some O-Hada on the Monouchi part of Sashiura side. But it is not so serious.
Hamon : Ko Nie deki, Suguha Hamon with Ko Ashi.

Special feature: In the Bingo province, there are the Mihara school and Kokubunji school.
In the Kokubunji school, there were Hokke Ichijo, Kaneyasu, Yukiyoshi, Shigeyasu, Shigeie, Nobukuni, etc., who were active in the Nanbokucho period.

Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : square shape iron Tsuna, Namako Sukashi is engraved with openwork.
Menuki : Shakudo, shells are engraved.
Fuchi: Shakudo plate, some pattern is engraved.
Kashira: Black horn.

Hokke has two characteristic:one is Suguha Hamon with soft feeling Jigane and the other is Chirimen Hada　like the one in this blade. The blade is well grained with Chikei and Utsuri.
