Special feature: Moritoshi was born Seiemon Iwamoto in 1802 in Boshu province, present Yamaguchi pref. He became a pupil of Chounof
Tsunatoshi at Edo in 1837. After getting hold of acquire to temter the sword, Moritoshi went back to serve the Kikkawa family at Iwakuni. The relationship between Tsunatoshi and Moritoshi has grown closer over the years. Tsunatoshi the Second, a son of Tsunatoshi the First learned under Moritoshi.
