The blade was polished.
Habaki:Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length :51.3cm or 20.19inches.
Sori :0.8cm or 0.31inches.

Width at the hamachi:2.57 cm or 1.01inches.
Width at the Kissaki:1.75cm or 0.68inches.
Kasane : 0.69cm or 0.27inches.
The weight of the sword:420 grams.
Era : Mid Muromachi period.
Shape : Osuriage-Mumei, Bo-hi is engraved
on the both sides, Sori is slightly shallow
and to be Chu-Kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame-hada very well grained, Jinie works well to be like Hadadachi.
Hamon :Niedeki, Notare mixed with Gunome-midare, to be Choji-midare with deep
Nioikuchi, there are uneven changes, Sunagashi and Kinsuji work in Hachu.
Special feature:Fujiwara Takada is a sword smith group which made great
swords in the mid Muromachi, around Meio era. Sadayuki and
Sanemori are the famous among them and their swords are called “Ko-
Takada-mono”. Boshi has deep Nioikuchi and round shape to end with
Hakigake.
From Aoi Art: This is one of Ko-Takada-mono and it is not sure who made
this(Tokiyuki, Sadayuki or Sanemori), but their works have
reputations. Jigane and Hamon are great and we truly recommend
this one for you.
Background:In the period under control of Yoshimitsu, it became somehow
stable, but after Onin War(1467-1477) or Meio Coup(1493) they
plunged into the Wars (Sengoku Period), the systems of Bakufu,
Shugotaisei and Shoen-kouryousei were destroyed and the Sengoku-
Daimyo gain power at their territory as independent clans.
