Signature : Yamashiro Kami Fujiwara Kunikane. 2nd generation.
山城守藤原国包(二代) 

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 58.33 cm or 22.9 inches.
Sori :0.6cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 2.62cm or 1.03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.57cm or 0.22 inches.
The weight of the sword 470 grams.,
Era : Edo period Kan-ei Era
Shape : Long Wakizashi with regular width, thickness and Sori. Kissaki is longer. Kan-ei shape sword.
Jigane :Masame-Hada well grained Jinie attached. Thin Chikei is visible.
Hamon : Niedeki deep Nioikuchi Suguha. thicker from Suguha. Boshi is deep Nioikuchi round shape.

Special feature: Yamashiro Kami Kunikane started study from Ecchu Kami
Masatoshi in 1615 and received the Mei Yamashiro Daijo in
9 years. Same as the 1st generation, the 2nd made sword
with Masame Hada. His regular sword has Kuichigai-Ba but
this sword does not has it. Instead of it, the Hamon is
thick Suguha and Boshi is deep Nioikuchi round shape.
