Shape: The blade is oo Suriage Mumei wide and thick on both sides of the blade.
Jigane: Itame hada well grained with jinie attach soft feeling and Shirake Utsuri appear like Midare Utsuri style.
Hamon: Nie Deki Suguha and from the Monouchi area, Nezumi Ashi. Boshi is round shape Hakikake style.

Special feature: Bingo mihara school is a group of sword makers that prospered from the end of the Kamakura period to the end of the Muromachi period. The Mihara school has a strong Yamato temperament, but it is said that there were many villas and shrines in the country and there were many exchanges with the central Kinai area. The style is that Shirake Utsuri appears on Mokume hada and the Hamon is suguha where nioikuchi is tightened, and Bo-shi also has the characteristic of gently returning to a round shape. This form continues until the end of the Muromachi period.

From Aoi Art: Komihara of this work is wide and slightly thick with Bo-hi carved on the front and back to reach nakago. It is a work with a good appearance of Taihai with deep sori and kissaki. The Jigane becomes soft and Itame Hada, and Shirake Utsuri often appears and becomes a Midare Utsuri style. Hamon is Suguha tight Kuichigai Hamon You can see the fine rat legs mixed with it. Bo-shi returns big and beautifully round Enmei Fukujyu(延命福寿) is engraved on the nakago. Maybe he wished good luck.(long life and happy life) Produced at the end of the Kamakura period It is believed that it was carved as Enmei Fukujyu around the end of the Muromachi period.
I highly recommend the old Komihara work, in which Utsuri appears well
and the gentle Suguha is made.
