(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyo-jyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length :  66.4cm or 26.4 inches.
Sori : 1.7cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi :  2
Width at the hamachi : 2.7cm or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 1.98cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword is 610 grams.
Era : End of Edo period.
Shape : Regular width and thickness. Sori is deep and Kissaki is longer Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : From Hamachi, Suguha then Konie Deki, Choji Midare with deep Nioikuchi.

Special feature: Akama Tsunanobu is sword smith of Yonezawa and is
student of Tsunahide. He usually make Choji Midare,
Doranba swords. He did not make so many swords so his
sword is very rare.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Thick Mokko style iron Tsuba. The rim is gold color Fukurin style. Shishi dogs and plants are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo plate. Shishi dog is engraved with gold color.
Saya: Black Ishime plate, family crest is engraved with black lacquer.
Menuki: Shakudo plate, Shishi dog is engraved.

From Aoi Art: This sword is Mumei but was judged as Akama Tsunanobu by NBTHK. Hamon is clear Choji-Midare and Nioikuchi is deep.
The blade is high-ranking and also the Koshirae is wonderful.
It was arranged by Shishi dogs design. This sword must be
kept by high ranking samurai.
