Signature : Kimon Echizen Kami Nobuyoshi

This sword belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver and gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length :　51.1　cm or 20.11 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 　1
Width at the hamachi : 3.30 cm or 1.29 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.37 cm or 0.93 inches.
Kasane : 0.789 cm or 0.310 inches.
Era : Edo period, Enpo era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with large Sori.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained.
The Jigane is clear and beautibul.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha from Hamachi. And then wide Notare Hamon.
There are double Ha and Kinsuji.
Boshi is Midarekomi Hakikake style.

Special feature: Echizen no kami Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi was a 3rd
son of first genertation Kyo Shinano kami Nobuyoshi.
And his real name was Takai Kinsaburou.
He entered the priesthood, and he was called Tomonobu.
He was strongly influenced by Sukehiro and Inoue Shinkai.
And his strong points are Touranba-Hamon and Suguha with deep Nioikuchi.
He has some signature “Echizen no kami Minamoto
Nobuyoshi”, “Nyu-do Minamoto Rai Nobuyoshi” ,
“Takai Echizen no kami Minamoto no Nobuyoshi”.
He migrated to Osaka pref in his late life and made Sword at there.
Some his blades in his late life has “Kikumon”
and “Ichi” and “Minamoto” in signature.

Koshirae :
Saya : Red color Saya.
Tsuba : Shakudo Tsuba.
Menuki : Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, Shishi dog is engraved with gold color.
