The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foilled single habaki.
Blade length : 59.2 cm or 23.30 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.

Width at the Kissaki : 1.76 cm or 0.69 inches.

Era : Nanbokucho period to early Muromachi period.
Shape : Ubu Nakago, regular width and thickness Katana with deep Sori. The blade is elegant, Katate Uchi style.

Jigane : Itame Hada and Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie and Chikei. There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Choji Midare, Gunome Midare, and Togari Gunome Midare. The Hamon is bright. There are fine Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is Midarekomi, pointed and turned back.

Special feature: Ko Zori school start from the Nanbokucho period. They made successful career as swordsmiths from early to middle Muromachi period. There are various theories like “They are not legimate Osafune school sword making.” or “They are not even a school.” or ”The period must be earlier because Hidemitsu was there.” Generally, it is said that the blades have small Sori and quiet Hamon, but there are also wonderful works by them.

From Aoi Art: Moromistu, Norimitsum Masamitsu, and Hidemitsu,
they were active in the Bizen province. This blade Hamon is bright, unlike Morimitsu and Yasumitu, the Jigane is Hadadachi, and similar to Hidemitsu. The shape is Katate Uchi. It is a healthy blade that cannot be thought of as being produced 620 years ago. It is a well-made sword that we would like to recommend. The blade has already passed the NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon.
