This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade is polished.
Habaki: silver foiled habaki
Blade length: 59.0cm or 23.23inches.
Sori: 2.0cm or 0.79inch.
Width at the hamachi: 2.61cm or 1.03inches.
Thickenss at the hamachi: 0.61cm or 0.24inch.
Era: Middle Muromachi period. 15th to 16th century.
Shape: A slender shinogi-zukuri wakizashi. Blade length is very close to the katana.
Jitetsu: Itame-hada.
Hamon: Notare starts from the hamachi and turns to pointed ko-gunome on the upper part. Slight kinsuji and sunagashi appear there.

Special feature: Fujishima School originated in Echizen province, present Fukui pref. in the 14th century. In the mid 15th cantury, a pupil in the clan Yukimitsu moved to Kaga and prospered there.

Tsuba: An unsigned round iron tsuba.
Fuchi/kashira: Unsigned shakudo fuchi/kashira.
Menuki: Dragon design.
