This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 45.8cm or 18.03 inches.
Sori : 0.8cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi : 3 (1 is buried)
Width at the hamachi : 2.61cm or 1.02 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.66cm or 0.65 inches.
Kasane : 0.61cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 330 grams.
Era : Muromachi period. Eikyo 4th (1425)
Shape : Regular width and thickness sword with Ubunakago. Sori is deep and Kissaki is
longer, good shape sword.
Jigane : Ko-Itame-Hada and also a little bit of Ko-Itame-Hada mixed. Jinie attached and
Chikei is visible.
Hamon: Ko-Niedeki-Choji-Midare and Gunome-Midare mixed. Ashi worked and Boshi is
Midare Komi round shape.

Special feature: Bishu Osafune Yasumitsu and Morimitsu were 2 top Bizen swordsmiths in the Muromachi period. There are not so many famous swordsmith worked around Ouei era, so most of
the swords in this time was a sword made by Morimitsu or
Yasumitsu. This is high-ranking sword of Yasumitsu with
Ubunakago, we strongly recommend this sword for you
