9 Kanji characters and there is a production date as Kanbun 6th.
This is a rare large blade of this school. This is a votive sword.
He was a student of Edo, Musashi Daijo Korekazu.
It has Masame and Sakasa Choji Midare.
There are Midare Utsuri to the Shinogi-Ji. The Nioikuchi is bright and gorgeous. This blade is masterpiece of his swords.
Blade length is 2 Shaku 7 Sun 1 Bu.

This sword belongs to Saijo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki with gold color.
Blade length : 82.3 cm or 32.40 inches.
Sori : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi : 3.77 cm or 1.48 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.29 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.88 cm or 0.34 inches.
The weight of the sword: 1270 grams.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.(1666)
Shape : Long 82.3cm, wide 3.77cm, and thick 0.88cm Katana with deep Sori. The blade is magnificent.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Ko Nie Deki, Choji Midare and Sakasa Choji Midare.
There are many Ashi and Yo. The Hamon is gorgeous and bright.

Special feature: Chikuzen Shinto Nobukuni school was a sword smith group as great as Fukuoka ishido school.
Koretsugu and Moritsugu are a swordsmith who represents the school. Koretsugu was bron is Kanei 5th(1628)and is commonly known as Hansanbei.
He went to Edo and learned Bizen den under Musashi Daijo Korekazu. He returned to Fukuoka three years later and served the Kuroda family.
Toshitsugu(Korekazu’s eldest son) passed awary. Moritsugu
took over his work. Korekazu passed away in March, Genna 1st(1615) at age of 53. His style is Masame Hada and Sakasa Choji Midare.

Koshirae : Tachi Koshirae.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Shibuichi Tachi style Tsuba with some pattern.
Menuki : Shibuichi, 3 circle design.
Fuchikashira: Shibuichi, 8 circle design.

It is furnishings dedicated to God sword with a dignified appearance. The blade has Itame Hada wit Masame, Gunome Midare, Togari Gunome and Sakasa Choji Midare Hamon.
In the Ha, there are a lot of activities as Ashi and Yo.
It is an excellent sword in his works. The production date is also valuable in terms of materials.
It was made as a votive offering and is believed to have been carefully preserved until now.
We think that this blade is the best Koretsugu’s work in Japan.
