This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 24.8 cm or 9.76 inches.
Sori : 0.0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 3 (2 are filled)
Width at the hamachi : 2.3 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword : 155 grams.
Era : Early Muromachi period, arond Ouei Era.
Shape : Regular width and thickness, Mitsumune style nice shape Tanto.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada and Komokume Hada mixed with Jinie attach. There are Utsuri.
Hamon : Suguha Hamon. In the Ha, there are soft Ko Ashi, Yo, Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is Yakizume style on the Omote side, on the Ura side, Boshi is small round shape.

Special feature: Nobukuni existed from the Nanbokucho period to Eikyo era. This blade was made by Nobukuni the 1st generation’s later work(aroud Ouei era).
It is a work with a quiet atmosphere sword that is typical of Nobukuni.

Koshirae :
Saya : Dark brown Ishime-Ji Saya with cloud design.
Menuki : Shakudo, Samurai with horse is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shibuichi, bird of prey is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako, millitary leader’s fan and Saihai baton are engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: NBTHK judged the blade as Nobukuni around Ouei era. It is a work with elegant and dignity.
The Koshirae is also nice. We recommend this wondeful Tanto.
