The blade was polished.

Width at the Kissaki: 2.17 cm or 0.854 inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.27 inches.

Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape: Mihaba is wide, kasane is thick,
sori is deep, and kissaki is a good work of Taihai.
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach very attractive hizen Jigane which
is called konuka hada.
Hamon: Nioikuchi’s deep Gunome Midare becomes bright and clear, and kinsuji as lightning in the cumulonimbus clouds of summer clouds, Sunagashi works and bo-shi is disturbed and returns round.

Special feature: Dewa Kami Yukihiro was born in 1617 year as the second son of Hashimoto Yukinobu, commonly known as Kurobei. His brother is Kawachi Daijyo Masahiro.
He received the title Dewa Daijyo in the 1647 year and then turned to Dewa Kami. He went to Nagasaki on 1650 and learned Holland iron about Holland iron makers Hisatsugu and Yakushiji Tanenaga.
We see many works with Holland iron engraved on the nakago.
He would have been proud to have made it using the most advanced foreign iron. He passed away in 1682 year.
