The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 67.9 cm or 26.7 inches.
Sori :1.515cm or 0.596 inches.

Width at the hamachi :2.9 cm or 1.142inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.08 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.256 inches.
The weight of the sword 595 grams.
Era : Nanbokucho period. Enbun to joy-ji 1356.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei and engraved on both sides of the blade with deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane: Itame hada and masanagare and chikei work.
Hamon :From the Hamachi, deep nioikuchi gunome midare and especially from the Monouivhi to Kissaki , deep nioikuch active hamon bright and clear.
Bo-shi is Midarekomi and Yakizume style.

Special feature: Kaneuji, one of the Masamune 10 students, came to the land of At Mino Shizu, and this group prospered. Later students, Kanetomo, Kanetsugu, Kaneshige, and Kanenobu, moved to Naoe, the country, and played an active role. These swordsmiths are called Naoe shizu.

From Aoi Art: Naoe shizu is a sword group that forms a flow from O-shizu and is divided into Naoe shizu and Yamato shizu.
When I saw Befor long years age I watched Masamune from Mr. Tanobe sensei, Hamon was a low and dignified work. Hamon from Hamachi to the middle of this work works well and Kinsuji can be seen well in Hamon. The bright, clear and intense Kinsuji is wonderful, the higher hamon from the vicinity of Monouchi is one view, and Bo-shi is Notare and Yakizume.
Koshirae is not so old, but it is thought that it was made after the Meiji era, but it is firmly imposing.
Recently, there aren’t many works such as Naoe shizu, so I definitely recommend this sword.
