Explanation: The sword was made in December 1825 at Senpu, by Soshu Sadamune 22generation, Hideharu who was the 1st son of Watanabe Wakasa Kami Masasada.

This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold failed J single habaki.
Blade length : 44.7 cm or 17.5 inches.
Sori :1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.08cm or 1.21 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword 375grams.
Era : End of Edo period 1825
Shape : Hirauchi style sword with Sakizori and Mitsumune style like Nanbokucho sword.
Jigane : Masame-Hada well grained, Jinie attached. Chikei is visible.
Hamon : Niedeki-Gunome-Midare with deep Nioikuchi. Gunome-Midare
worked stronger around Monouchi. Boshi is deep Sori round
shape.

Special feature: Hideharu has very nice skills. Jigane is beautiful and Hamon
is deep Nioikuchi Gunome-Midare. Shape is Mitsumune
So-shuden style. He is not popular sword maker but the
quality of the blade is wonderful.

wonderful, and it is thought that both the teacher and the disciple worked hard as a
disciple of the famous swordsmith. It’s a wonderful work.
