This sword belongs to Jyo Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length: 75.7 cm or 29.8 inches.
Sori :1.7cm or 0.67inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi: 3.29cm or 1.295 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.75 cm or 1.083inches.
Kasane : 0.76cm or 0.3 inches.
The weight of the sword is 995 grams.
Era : Edo period Anei era.1854.
Shape: The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki. On both sides of the blade, engraved Bo-hi nice looking shape and a healthy blade.
Jigane: Koitame and Komokume hada mixed with jinie attach beautiful fine texture.
Hamon: Niedeki Suguha based thick nioikuchi and gnome MMidare, Notate Hamon
mixed.
bright and clear nice active Hamon.
Bo-shi: rather round shape with Hakikake style and kinsuji work.

Special feature: 2nd generation Fujiwara Ujishige is a group of swordsmiths who have
continued from the first generation to the fifth generation, and this work is the first son.
Called Miki Shinbei. Retired and entered the road and named Taisei and died on
December 25, Tenmei 3rd.
This sword was exhibited at the 42nd Saitama prefecture sword exhibition at the Saitama City Museum in Saitama prefecture. We strongly recommend this sword.
