This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :　Silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 60.0cm or 23.62 inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.0cm or 23.6 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.25cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword 575 grams.
Era : Edo period Shoho 2nd 1646
Shape: Wide and thick sword with deep Sori and longer Kissaki. Good shape sword.
Jigane: Itame-Hada well grained. Jinie is attached and Hadame is visible clearly.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Suguha-Hamon, Nezumi-Ashi worked. Boshi is round shape Yakizume style.

Special feature: Oushu Ju Kanesada is very historical swordsmith. Just
looking at the Edo period, they kept making a numerous
swords from the start of Edo to the end of Edo period over 10
generations.

Koshirae :
Tsuba:Shakudo plate. Chrysanthemum is engraved with openwork.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate. Chrysanthemum is engraved with openwork.
Menuki: Shakudo plate. Some design is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: Clear and bright Suguha-Hamon with Nezumi-Ashi and soft
Nioi Kuchi. The sword was done high-ranking polishing. The
Jigane looks old so it seems was made in the Muromachi period,
but it engraved the Ura-Mei says this sword was made in
1646 and this is genuine.
