Explanation: This blade was made by Isshinsai Kunishiro for Mr.Takayama Kyokichi in Mid-Autumn 1972.
Isshinsai Kunishiro lives in Aomori prefecture.
The blade is polished

Blade length: 74.6 cm or 29.37 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.21 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.18 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era: modern times 1972
Shape: Long, wide, and thick Katana with moderate Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
The Jigane is clear.
Shinogi-Ji: Muji style.
Hamon: Nioi Deki, Choji Midare with many Ashi. Boshi is round in shape.

Special feature: Isshinsai Kunishiro was a swordsmith of Aomori prefecture. He was born on November 13th, 1908.
He started to make swords, Gunto in 1932, during the war. He got the prize Army sword Technical foundation chairman prize and also a lot of other prizes. His is good at Bizen-Den, Soshu-Den, and So-Den Bizen.

This blade reminds of Shinshin-To Yokoyama school.
The Hamon is bright Choji Midare.
This blade is an order made so the quality is higher, the polish was done in May 2021, so we strongly recommend this sword for Iai, Tameshigiri and study.
