The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single habaki.

Width at the Kissaki: 2.12cm or 0.835 inches.

Era : Edo period Kanei era
Shape: The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and Jigane looks like Kunihiro schools texture.
Hamon :Nie deki gumowe midare with deep nioikuchi and ashi, soft. Bo-shi is Nnotare and round shape.

Special feature: First-generation Kunisuke was born at Kameyama Ise Mie province. He was a student of Horikawa Kunihiro. Also First generation Izumino kami kunisada was working for Horikawa Kunihiro. Kunisuke’s Jigane and Hamon both very similar to Kunisada. He got the title of the Kawachi no kami at Kanei 2 (1625). After Kunihiro passed away, they moved to Osaka became the pioneer of the Oosaka swordsmith. The second-generation Kunisuke’s style is Kobushi Choji and he has continued this style.
First-generation Kunisuke’s style is So-den style, Many sword collectors are looking for his blade and also his blades are very similar to Kunihiro.

From Aoi Art: Originally he was a samurai, but since his master’s family was destroyed, he went to Kyoto aiming for swordsmith and learned exactly from Echigo Kami Kunitomo and learned making sword technique with the first Izumi Kami Kunisada. Therefore, his style is similar to that of Kunisada. Saya :black roiro saya.
Tsuba: On the Rokko style iron tsuba, Matsu tree, sun, and flying crane are engraved with gold color.
Menuki: Ume flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira:On the Shakudo Nanako plate, Ume tree and a Warbler are engraving with gold color.
Kozuka: On the SHakudo Nanako plate, a dragon and clouds are engraved with gold color.
