This sword belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Copper and silver double.
Blade length :  44.6cm or 17.5 inches.
Sori : 1.35cm or 0.53 inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi : 2.95cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.35cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.7cm or 0.27 inches.
The weight of the sword 480 grams.
Era: Early Edo
Shape: Wide and thick sword with deep Sori.
Jigane: Itame-Hada well grained. Hadame is visible clearly.
Shinogi: Same as Jigane, Itame-Hada well grained. Hadame is visible clearly.

Special feature: Kanekado is swordsmith who worked From the Muromachi period to Edo period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Square-based special shape iron Tsuba.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako plate. Flower and phoenix are engraved with gold color.
Saya: Azuki color Saya with Kizami pattern and silver inlay.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako plate. Samurai and Dragon are engraved.

From Aoi Art: This sword engraved Kanekado on front side, but also engraved Yoshida Matagoro on the backside. We are not sure what this name is, but we think it is the name of the owner or the real name of Kanekado. Anyway, it is interesting. Jigane is Itame-Hada and and Hadame is visible. Shinogi is also the same.
Usually Shinogi is only Masame but this one also Itame. This
is rare.
