This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single Habaki.
Blade length : 62.2cm or 24.4 inches.
Sori : 2.4cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.24cm or 0.88 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.4cm or 0.55 inches.
Kasane : 0.55cm or 0.21 inches.
The weight of the sword 320 grams.
Era : Kamakura period.
Shape : Thin and narrow Osuriage Mumei sword. Sori is deeper at upper part.
Jigane: Ko-itame-Hada well grained. Jinie attached blackish Jigane.
Hamon: Niedeki, deep Nioikuchi. From Hamachi, Suguha then Nijuba then
Nioikuchi deeper. The Hamon is reached to Shinogi side. Sunagashi
and Kinsuji worked. Boshi is round shape Yakisage style.

Special feature: NBTHK judged this sword as Ko-Uda. From the very long
Kinsuji, we can say this is high ranking sword.
Koshirae is High ranking Tachi Koshirae. We think it was made after Meiji
period and it was made for someone related to the royal family.

From Aoi Art: This sword was judged as Ko-Uda by NBTHK Tokubetsu
Hozon paper. Shape is good and the works in Hamon is also excellent.
The feature of this sword is different from other
Ko-Uda sword’s feature. We recommend you this rare sword.
