saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-jyo ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper double habaki.
Blade length : 39.2cm or 15.4inches.
Sori :0.6cm or 0.23inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.82cm or 1.11inches.
Width at the Kissaki : cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.52cm or 0.2inches.
The weight of the sword 285 grams.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : Suriage Mumei, wide Mitsumune style blade. Carving is engraved on
both side of the blade.
Jigane :Itame-hada and Mokume-hada mixed. Jinie attached Norishige style sword.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha, Gunome-midare mixed. Sunagashi and Kinsujiworked from Yokote.
Boshi: Turn back round.

Special feature: The blade was attributed as Yamamura.
Yamamura school was started from Masanobu in Echigo Takada.
The blade is quite similar with Nobukuni.
On the sayagaki , the sword is mentioned Nobukuni, I think his
Sayagaki is reliable.

The blade both Jigane and Hamon are quite good.

Koshirae :
Tsuba: Thick square -gata Shakudo Tsuba.
Fuchikashira: On Shakudo Nanako plate. chrysanthemum is engraved with gold color.
the signature is mentioned as Imai Nagatyake.
Saya: Brown Ishime Saya
Menuki: Phoenix is engraved by pure gold. I think.
Kozuna: Copper Nanako plate, Mt. Fuji and a person are engraved with gold color.
Tsunagi: Han-Tsunagi style

From Aoi Art: Wide and longer Wakizashi, Nanbokucho shape blade.
Especialy, Jigane is beautiful and looks like old Kyushu
sword. Koshirae is very gorgeous, phoenix which
engraved on Menuki is pure gold. We
recommend this sword which was made in oldage.
