The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold faileddouble habaki.
Blade length : 66.8 cm or 26.3 inches.
Sori :1,5 cm or 0.59 inches.

Width at the hamachi :2,62 cm or .03 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1,82 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0,63 cm or 0.25 inches.
The weight of the sword 580 grams.
Era : Late Kamakura to early Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei and regular widthm thickness
with rather deep sori and longer kissaki.
Jigane :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach Chikei work and utsuri appear.
Hamon :Nie deki suguha with ashi soft feeling.
Bo-shi is round shape and strong Nie.

Special feature:Ko-mihara is the name of a swordsith group lived in Mihara
of Bingo province prospered around the last Kamakura to the last
Muromachi period. Masaie and Masahiro are the representative
swordsmiths of this school. Distinctive points of their swords are
shirake-utsuri and slight masame pattern on the jitetsu, hotsure and
uchinoke on the hamon and round boshi though the comprehensive
style resembles to the Yamato School’s and neighboring Aoe
School’s. The reason why Yamato School influenced to this School is
that there were many shoen; manor in medieval Japan especially
owned by Buddhist temples or Shinto-shrines in Yamato province.

Koshirae :
Saya :Black rirod saya,some interesting designe are painted,
Tsuba :On the motto sake iron tsuba, landscape of country’s scene and
famers are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : On the syakudo nanako plate, kiri family crsts are engraved with gold color.
Fuchi:On the syakudo plate, Matsu leaved are painted by gold color.

From Aoi Art: This sword is ec¥excellent nice jigane which consists of
okitama hada and chikei work and also utsuri appear like Aoe school.
Aoe and Komihara is very cloth neighbor country so the blade looks
Aoe but NBTHK judged as Komihara.
