Heisei 3 Nen 3 Gatsu Kichijitsu.

The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : silver single habaki.
Blade length: 72.3 cm or 28.5inches.
Sori: 2.7cm or 1.06 inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi: 3.34 cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.43 cm or i0.96 nches.
Kasane : 0.82 cm or 0.323inches.
Era : Gendai(modern times)
Shape: The blade is wide and thick with bo-hi engraved on both sides of the blade.
Boshi is a rather longer gorgeous attractive shape.
Jitetsu: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful nice texture.
Hamon: Nioi Deki Choji Midare,Fukuro Choji Midare and also Jyuka Choji Midare up and　down and almost reached to the Shinigi ji.
In Hamon, sunagasi, kinsuji work soft ashi and Yo.
Boshi is midarekomi style with clear long kinsuji work.
Special feature: Oono Yoshimitsu was born at Syowa on 23rd October 16th Niigata　prefecture.
At Showa 44, he studied under the Yoshihara Yoshindo, Yoshihara Syouji.
He studied very hard and got permission for making Japanese swords from Japanese government at Syowa 55.
After several years, He got a lot of prizes like the prize of The Agency for Cultural Affairs chief. Takamatsu Miya Imperial prince prize and became Mukansa sword maker.
He is well known Yamadorige Utsusi which sword is marvelous one of the most

famous

Gendai swords. We don’t come across a wonderful work Bizen Cyoji Midare

sword.
The real Yamadorige sword belongs to Uesugi family’s national treasure.
Oono Yoshimitsu succeeded to restore to its original shape and Hamon.
He must be the most well known Bizen Cyoji Midare sword maker and exceed
Ningen Kokuho.
From Aoi Art: This sword is a restoration to original Yamadorige sword (Mitsutada)
about 30 Mitsutada became National treasure, Jyuyo Bunkazai and Jyuyo Bijyutu
swords.
Oda Nobubaga liked Mitsutada and collected about 20 swords doring his life,

At Hono-ji Hen, He kept Mitsutada and burned fire and died with this Mitautada.
This sword is gorgeous active wonderful work with sunagashi , kinsuji.
Especially this one set of Oono Yoshimitsu is quite rear and precious.

Blade length : 47,4 cm or 18.66 inches.
Sori :1.3 cm or 0.512 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 2.93 cm or 1.153 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.14 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0,77 cm or 0.3 inches.
Era :Gendai Moderntimes.
Shape: The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori.
on both sides of the blade engraved bo-hi and longer kissaki.
Jigane: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful nice texture.
Hamon: Nioi Deki Choji Midare, Fukuro Choji Midare and also Jyuka Choji Midare up and
down and almost reached to the Shinigi ji.
In Hamon, sunagasi, kinsuji work soft ashi and Yo.
Boshi is midarekomi style.
Special feature: These swords are one set of Daisyo swords which quite unusual rear item.
The wakizashi is very active and the Hamon almost reach to the Shinogi line.

The beautiful wonderful Hamon reminds Kamakura period Mitsutada.
From Aoi Art: For a long period, there isn’t any National treasure in sword makers.
Because Injustice was performed and then the ministry of education decided not
select national human treasure from the Japanese sword field.
If resumption to select from Japanese sword field, I think Oono Yoshimitsu
might be selected as the national human treasure.
For the development of the Japanese sword world, we hope to resumption again.
Oono Yoshimitsu Daisho set is quite rear and hope to keep this set of sword
in good condition as your family’s treasure.
