Blade length : 70.0cm or 27.55 inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.82 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.63cm or 0.24 inches.
The weight of the sword 575 grams.
Era : Edo period around Genroku era 1693.
Shape : Regular width and thickness Katana with deep Sori.
Jigane : Ko Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with thick Nioikuchi.
In the Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Boshi is round shape with thick Nioikuchi.

Special feature: This Yukihira was a swordsmith of Bungo province. He moved to Hizen and also Karatsu in the Enpo era.
He was called as Kawachi Kami Motoyuki.
After Karatsu province, he moved to Musashi Edo.
He became a student of Tsunahiro.
After receiving a character Hon (本) from Honami family, he changed his name to Motoyuki(本行). It is called Matsuba Motoyuki because the signature resenmles Matsuba(Pine leaves).

Saya : Aogai Chirash, Kizami Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape Sakudo Tsuba, pine tree and bamboo are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : Shakudo, peony is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Kojiri: Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka: Shakudo Nanako, flower is engraved with gold color.
Kogatana: There is a signature Inoue Shinkai.
Kogai: Shakudo Nanako, peony is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: This blade was made by Matsuba Motoyuki. It is a work of the era called Yukihira.
Thus blade is nice shape, Jigane, Hamon, and engraving. It is a work that well expresses his characteristics. The Koshirae is also nice.
