This sword belongs toJyo Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 72.6 cm or 28,6 inches.
Sori :2.0cm or 0.79 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.93cm or 1.153 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.32cm or 0.91 inches.
Kasane : 0.66cm or 0.26 inches.
The weight of the sword 790 grams.
Era : Late Muromachi
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane :Itame hada hadatachi jinie a lot and also small chikei work which is typical Do-tanuki school.
Hamon :Nie deki komisarze ,ko notare mixed and small ashi work
sunagashi, kinsuji work. Bo-shi is round shape hakikake, kaen style.

Special feature: Dotanuki school started at Higo Kikuchi province by Masakuni and Kouzuke.
At the late Edo period, descendants started Dotanuki school again.
Dotanuki swords were loved by Kato Kiyomasa because the blade is his favor
, especially long and thick-cut well sword.
After the war the title Kozure Ookami (A samurai is traveling with his small son)
was written by novel and shown by movie. After that Dotanuki sword gained special
popularity.
I think the reason why this story gained special popularity is a shabby strong Ronin(without working position) has a simple and not famous strong cut well sword which
is called Dotanuki.
Generally , most of Dotanuki sword was used for battle so usually has some Kizu and openings but this sword is quite well quality.
