Signature : Mumei (Shinto Sukesada)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku, and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.

Habaki: Copper single Habaki
Blade length: 60.5 cm or 23.82 inches.
Sori :1.6cm or 0.63inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi:3.1 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki: 2.27 cm or 0.894inches.
Kasane : 0.74cm or 0.29inches.
The weight of the sword 620 grams.
Era: Early Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape: Wide and thick Katana with deep Sori, longer Kissaki.
Jigane: The mixture of Ko Itame hada and Ko Mokume Hada.
The Jigane is clear.
Hamon: Nie Dekim Gunome Midare with Ko Ashi.
The Hamon is gorgeous. Boshi is Ichimai and round shape.

Special feature: In the Edo period, Sukesada school leads a group and begins production.The main members was Kozuke Daijo Sukesada. They made swords in consideration of the very prosperous Muromachi period. Many swordsmiths grew up and were once again proud of their power as Bizen swords.
This blade is Ubu Mumei.

Saya : Black Roiro Saya with Inro Kizami.
Tsuba: Shakudo Nanako plate Tsuba with the family crest.
Menuki: Shakudo, the flower is engraved with gold and silver color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo Nanako, the flower is engraved with gold color.
