The blade was polished.
habaki: on the silver single habaki, family crests are engraved.
Blade length : 38.8 cm or 15.27 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.00 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 0.56 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape: The blade is wide and thick Sunnobi style Wakizasi.
Jigane: Itame Hada well grained with jinie attach and hadatachi jigane.
Hamon: Nie Deki gunome midair and kissai is round shape yakisage style.
Special feature: Ganmaki was a well-known sword maker in Mino province.
Generally, this kind of sword has some lose Hada and openings but this sword is pretty nice.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: On the round shape iron stub, some design is engraved.
Fuchikashira: On the iron plate, some family crest is painted by gold color.
Saya : black roiro saya.
Tsuka is plain wood tusk.
