The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki.

There are Chikei. The Jigane is typical Hizen Jigane.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Suguha base Hamon with many Ko-Ashi and Yo.
Boshi is Hakikake and Kaen style.

Special feature: Hizen Koku Tadayoshi the 1st generation, was called Hashimoto Shinzaemon. He was employed by the Hizen Nabeshima domain. In Keio 1st year, he moved to Kyoto with Numenaga and studied under the Umetada Akitoshi.
In Keio 3rd year, he went back to his hometown and lived near the Saga castle. In the 10th year of Genna, he received Musashi Daijo and changed his name to Tadahiro.
It is said that he passed away on August 15, 1632.

Tsuba: Round shape iron Tsuba, cranes are engraved. the rim covered with gold. Signature: Dewa Akita Ju Shoami Den.
Menuki: Shakudo, a flower is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo, a flower is engraved with gold color.

From Aoi Art: This blade is Ubu Nakago. The Sori is large, longer Kissaki, nice shape Katana. There is a beautiful engraving on the blade. The Hamon is a Suguga base with many soft Ko-Ashi.
