The blade was polished.

Habaki : silver fail ingle habaki.
Blade length :70.0cm or 27,56 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.236 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi: 3.2 cm or 1.26 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.3cm or 0.9inches.
Kasane :0.8cm or 0.315 inches.
The weight of the sword 830 grams.
Era : Late Edo period Kio era.
Shape: The blade is rather wide and thick
with small sori and longer Kissaki.
Jigane: Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful fine texture.
Hamon: Nie Deki Gunomemidare with thick nioikuchi Ashi, work soft feeling
Bo-shi is Midarekomi and turns back.

Special feature: Ikeda Munetoshi is an Iwami swordsmith who uses Shimane’s high-quality iron sand to make Tamahagane and make swords. Unfortunately, this sword has an almost indistinguishable Hagire around the middle.
Please consider that carefully before you decide to purchase the sword.

From Aoi Art: In Japan, if the sword has Hagire, we have to tell it clearly in advance.
But it is a well-made work and the Hagire is a very small one. So I think there is no problem enjoying the quality of the blade.
